Sections for windows and ventilators are straightened. cut to required lengths, mitred
and corners electrically flash butt welded. Subdividing bars of units shall
be tennoned and riveted into the frames. For fixing steel hinges slots
are cut in the fixed frame and the hinges inserted inside and welded to
the frame.
Doors
The sections are cut to required lengths, mitred and electrically Flash butt welded
at corners into frames. Standard doors are prepared to open out and to
glaze from outside.
Steel windows are provided with Handled and pegstays Handles of aluminum or brass or steel protected
against rusting are mounted on a pressed steel handle plate riveted to
the opening frame.
The windows and Ventilators are made for outward opening to glaze with putty from outside, unless otherwise
stated.

All windows and ventilators are freed from scale and rust and are painted with anti corrosive red oxide
paint.
Doors
Anti corrosive red oxide primer will be applied after removing rust and scale.
